Job Requirements- Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Certifications Requirements: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-acuity organization.
- Other Requirements: Valid North Carolina state license, ability to work night shifts, strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Provide critical care respiratory therapy interventions for adult patients in the Emergency Room and ICU settings, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC EMR and department-specific equipment such as Servo U, Servo Air, and Heated High Flow systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, state licensing, and certification requirements, including ACLS and BLS standards.
- Adapt assignments based on patient needs and department demands, including floating to other units as assigned based on experience and unit needs.
