Job Requirements- Education Requirements: Valid Respiratory Therapist accreditation from an accredited institution
- Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, RRT credential, NC license
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience; experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
- Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts, flexibility to float based on unit needs, strong teamwork and communication skills

- Provide critical care respiratory therapy to adult patients in the Emergency Room, including assessment, treatment, and interventions aligned with physician orders
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo U, Servo Air, and high-flow devices, ensuring optimal patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and acuity
- Document patient care activities accurately in EPIC EMR and maintain detailed records for compliance and quality assurance
- Float appropriately based on experience and unit needs, ensuring coverage across units while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care
