Travel/Contract Registered Nurse - Outpatient Services

Marietta, Georgia - 13 weeks

Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Associate degree or higher in Nursing (ASN, BSN, or equivalent)
  • Certifications Requirements:
    • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal or pediatric outpatient services
    • Experience with IV starts in neonatal patients
    • Previous experience assisting newborns in a clinical setting
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to work days, particularly from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to assist in a fast-paced, family-centered care environment

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide neonatal outpatient care, including assessment and preparation of newborns in the outpatient setting
  • Assist newborns in transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care with family-centered support
  • Administer IV therapies and monitor neonatal vital signs during outpatient procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonatal patients
  • Educate parents and guardians on newborn care, discharge instructions, and outpatient follow-up procedures
