• Education Requirements: Must possess an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Certifications Requirements: Active Illinois RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in Medical/Surgical units; no new travelers accepted without prior completed contract.
• Other Requirements: Ability to perform phlebotomy, read and interpret strips, and adapt to changing environments; strong communication and social skills; resilience and ability to manage change effectively.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy and interpret ECG strips accurately to assist in patient assessment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient status, treatments, and interventions using Meditech or equivalent EMR system.
• Float to Med/Surg and other units as needed, providing supplemental support and ensuring continuity of care across departments.
