Local Travel Labor and Delivery RN – 13 Week Contract – Grants, NM

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Local Travel LDRP RN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum Registered Nurse) for one of our trusted healthcare partners in Grants, New Mexico. This is a 13-week contract opportunity offering weekly compensation up to $2,970 (based on experience). Position Overview
The LDRP RN will provide comprehensive nursing care throughout the entire childbirth process—from labor and delivery through postpartum recovery. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered maternal and newborn care.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Assist physicians during deliveries, including emergency interventions
• Perform newborn assessments and provide immediate postnatal care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• LDRP nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience preferred

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico or compact license eligibility
• Certifications must be current and active prior to start date
