Travel Contract Physical Therapist (PT) – Pooler, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550/week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a highly regarded healthcare provider in Pooler, Georgia to hire a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapist seeking a dynamic clinical environment with a mix of acute and outpatient care.
Position Overview
This role offers the chance to work onsite alongside a primary Physical Therapist while treating a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable handling a variety of cases, including basic vestibular rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in both acute care and outpatient settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage a caseload that includes orthopedic, post-surgical, and vestibular conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and state regulations

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Physical Therapist license OR compact license required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Experience in both acute care and outpatient settings strongly preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Certification Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Dry needling certification preferred (not required, but a plus)
