Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 13-Week Contract – Critical Access Hospital – Near Winner, SD – Up to $2,000/Week

Position Details:

• Position: Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

• Location: Near Winner, South Dakota

• Shift Options: Day Shift or Night Shift available

• Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Compensation: Up to $2,000/week

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood banking

• Accurately analyze and report lab results to support timely diagnosis and treatment

• Collect, label, and process biological specimens following established protocols

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (required)

• Certification as MLT (ASCP) or equivalent (required)

• Must meet CLIA requirements for moderate-complexity testing

• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent clinical laboratory experience preferred

• Current BLS certification (preferred)
