Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.
- Certifications Requirements: Texas COTA License, BLS certification, LTC (Long-Term Care) experience verification.
- Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of LTC experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Other Requirements: Ability to review and evaluate housing options prior to submission, excellent communication skills, and reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to patients in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on improving daily living activities.
- Assess patients’ functional status and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician directives.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility and licensing standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care and support discharge planning.
- Maintain current and valid Texas COTA license and BLS certification throughout the assignment period.
