Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications Requirements: - ASCP Certification
    - BLS (Basic Life Support)
    - Generalist MLT with Phlebotomy experience
  • Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of relevant Laboratory experience
    - Proven experience in generalist MLT roles with phlebotomy skills
    - Prior experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements: - Ability to work independently during night hours
    - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
    - Ability to secure housing prior to assignment start

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical laboratory testing procedures accurately and efficiently during night shifts, ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Equip, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Collect, process, and analyze specimens, including phlebotomy when required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Document all laboratory activities meticulously, maintaining detailed records for audits and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to communicate results promptly, support patient care, and address any testing inquiries.
