Compensation: Up to $3,600 per week (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract near in Indio, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for Nuclear Medicine Techs to work in a top-tier healthcare facility while enjoying competitive pay and the flexibility of travel work.
Job Description:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic scans
- Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Certification: Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) certification
- State License: Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
- Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but highly skilled recent graduates will be considered
