Title:  Surgical Tech II
Location:  West Bend, Wisconsin
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts / week (10a-6:30p Mid Shift)
Requirements: 2+ years experience as Surical Technologist | High School/GED and one of the following:
-Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
-Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
-Completion of a Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program.
-Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.

Job Summary:
-As a member of the healthcare team collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out. 
-Other duties as assigned. 
-Performs procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills. 
-Demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care. 

Required Skills & Experience:
-Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Required Education
High School/GED and one of the following:
-Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
-Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
-Completion of a Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program.
-Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech. 

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
