Title:  RN - MICU (MICU/Neuro ICU/Transplant ICU - will float throughout these units.)
Location:  Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12 hour Nights | 3x12. May need to float to other ICUs, to step down units or to acute care units, if needed. Every other weekend; No call required
Requirements: 2+ years experience as an RN | BLS required | Epic experience required | Travel experience Required | MUST HAVE Med Surg RN EXPERIENCE

Job Summary:

• Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult patients in an inpatient MICU environment.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in critical care and float to other ICUs, step-down units, or acute care units as needed.
• Adhere to ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or Multi-state Nursing License under NLC.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Clinical competence in MICU and critical care settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Recent travel RN experience.
• Minimum MICU experience and critical care float experience.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.

Additional Information:

• Tele Testing required during the first week (two attempts to pass).
• May float to other units as needed.
