Location:  Mequon, WI
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: NOC Block schedule available, every other weekend
Requirements:  At least 2 years’ experience.
-Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
-Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population. The job description incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
