Title:  RN - CVICU
Location:  Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Nights every other weekend, no on-call
Requirements:  2 years of RN - CVICU experience
-CVICU RN travelers who are trained on Balloon pump and Impella devices to work TICU. These travelers will be needed until we successfully train enough TICU staff on the devices to support the need.​ The TICU is currently official overflow for CVICU patients. 
-Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
-American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
-AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.

RN - CVICU

Location: Wisconsin

Contract Length: Until sufficient TICU staff are trained on Balloon pump and Impella devices.

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires clinical competence in the care and management of adult patients, particularly those in the CVICU and TICU settings. The RN will support staff during night shifts and may be required to manage specialized devices such as Balloon pumps and Impella devices. This position is critical to ensuring high-quality care for overflow CVICU patients.

Required Qualifications:
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through education at an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Additional Information:
- CVICU RN travelers trained on Balloon pump and Impella devices will be prioritized.
- Cardiac travelers will provide support for staff during night shifts and may manage specialized devices.
