At GLC, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities (LTC/SNF) in Red Cloud, NE.

Overview

As a RN in LTC/SNF, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the well-being of our residents. You'll be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal health outcomes.

Required Skills

• Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska
• 2+ year of experience in LTC/SNF
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Basic life support certification (BLS)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Knowledge of gerontological nursing principles
• Certification in gerontology or long-term care

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in LTC/SNF

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass a background check
