Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state
• Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing practices and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting
• Knowledge of behavioral and substance abuse issues
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in mental health or inpatient psychiatric units

Other Requirements:

• CPR/BLS certification necessary
• Ability to work daytime hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment
