RN Corrections Direct Care Evening Shift

Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare protocols and safety procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in correctional or forensic nursing
• Bilingual capabilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Crisis intervention or de-escalation training

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally in acute or correctional settings
• Valid CPR/BLS certification

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
• Must be adaptable and a team-player in a fast-paced environment
