RN Psych Direct Care Day Shift

Required Skills:

• Active RN licensure (State-specific)
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

• BLS/ACLS certification
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or related field
• Prior experience working with acute mental health patients

Other Requirements:

• Background check and drug screening prior to employment
• Flexibility to work during the day shift hours, including occasional weekends or holidays if needed
• Certification in psychiatric or mental health nursing is advantageous
