Position Details:

• Location: 3649 Lower Newton Rd, Swanton, VT 05488
• Start Date: 2-3 weeks after offer acceptance (April 20, 2026)
• Shift Schedule: 5 nights per week, 8 hours each night (36 hours per shift)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Weekly Gross Pay Range: approximately $2,206
• Housing Stipend: $770/week
• Work Setting: Correctional facility, general setting
• Travel Status: Travel assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
• Conduct health assessments, administer medications, and manage treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team to ensure safety and well-being.
• Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and correctional standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of Corrections nursing experience required.
• Valid RN license in Vermont or appropriate state.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to correctional environment.
• No minimum experience required beyond corrections background.
