Psych RN Evening Shift - Clarks Summit, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Uphold safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric conditions and treatment protocols.
• Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Compassionate bedside manner and emotional resilience.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work evening hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel as this position is classified as travel.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN).
• Previous experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience with crisis intervention techniques.

• Hours per shift: 8 hours
• Weekly housing stipend: $770
• Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
