RN Psych Direct Care Pennsylvania – Coal Township

Are you an experienced registered nurse specializing in psychiatric care? This RN Psych Direct Care role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dedicated behavioral health setting in Coal Township, PA. You will be integral to providing high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care during evening hours, ensuring safety and support for individuals in need.

Job Details:

• Weekly pay: $2,046 gross ($1,246 stipend included)
• Pay rate: $20/hr, OT at $50/hr
• Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Contract start date: May 28 or every other week
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Location: Coal Township, PA, in a psychiatric setting

Required Skills:

• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
• Recent experience working in psychiatric or mental health settings
• Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to handle behavioral challenges with professionalism and sensitivity

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with psychiatric medications and treatments
• Prior work in 5x8 evening shifts or similar schedules
• Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and documentation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience

Other Requirements:

• Must hold all necessary certifications, including CPR and CPI
• Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment in Coal Township, PA
