Pay Details$ 20/hr $50/hr OT Weekly Stipend: $1,480.00
Weekly Gross: $2,220.00
Start: 2-3 weeks after offer
Shifts 3x12s Days 6-6 or 3x12 Nights 6-6 available possibly EOW if needed

• Guarantee Hours: 36 hours per week
• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates at the correctional facility
• Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and manage urgent health issues
• Collaborate with healthcare and correctional staff to ensure safety and compliance with protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations within the correctional environment
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients while maintaining security protocols

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont RN license
• Recent experience in adult healthcare, correctional healthcare preferred
• Strong clinical skills with ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings required for correctional access

Additional Skills and Certifications:

• Prior correctional healthcare experience is a plus
• Bilingual abilities are desirable
• Certifications such as CPR/BLS and First Aid preferred
