Corrections RN needed at a leading acute-care hospital, located in Valhalla, New York. This position offers the opportunity to work in a correctional setting with WellPath Corrections. The start date is approximately 2-3 weeks after offer acceptance, with shifts scheduled for 3x12 nights from 6 PM to 6:30 AM.

Pay Details: $2,350/week, with local candidates welcome at $56/hr and an overtime rate of $90/hr. This is a 13-week assignment with a minimum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 months of experience for this location.

Position Details: The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with the potential for extension. You will be guaranteed 36 hours per week.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to inmates in a correctional setting.
• Perform routine medical assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols specific to correctional healthcare.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York.
• At least 3 months of corrections experience (preferred but not mandatory for new grads).
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, secure environment.
