Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN in the Operating Room (OR) in Brockton, MA. We are seeking skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence in the surgical environment.

As an Operating Room RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include circulating and scrubbing for various cases, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team to deliver optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient surgical operations.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience, with a strong preference for candidates with scrub experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with ambulatory cases including sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, and minor vascular.

Certifications:

• CNOR certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Additional Information:

• Local candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be compensated at a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
• Shifts will be 8 hours with start times varying between 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 11:00 AM based on departmental needs.
• No weekends, major holidays, or on-call duties are required.
• Candidates must be willing to float between the Surgery Center and Main OR depending on volume.
