Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Cath Lab Tech in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care and advanced imaging technology. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be an integral part of the cardiology team, performing critical functions under the direction of a Cardiologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all Cardiac Catheterizations Technologist's duties under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist.
• Record and monitor hemodynamic data.
• Maintain proficiency through continuing education credits.
• Assist with the radiologic operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensure quality control standards by utilizing optimal diagnostic imaging.
• Conduct simple troubleshooting for equipment and request service as needed.
• Complete patient billing forms for Cath Lab procedures.
• Perform daily calibration and maintenance of the film processor using sensitometric and densitometric equipment.
• Assist with the preparation of cardiology patients for invasive procedures.
• Take evening and weekend calls for emergency procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all hospital-related, medical staff-related, and patient-related data.
• Abide by all relevant hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
• Commit to recognizing and respecting cultural diversity for all customers (internal and external).
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, utilizing interpreters when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience: 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP. Must be able to independently read telemetry strips and pass the tele exam on day 1 with 85% or better. Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).

Required Certifications: MA RT(R) License, ACLS, BLS. RCIS preferred.
