We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for a contract position at a leading healthcare facility in Presque Isle, ME. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various imaging procedures including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm in the Operating Room.
- Handle outpatient and inpatient cases, primarily focusing on adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric care.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively, including Siemens and Phillips systems.
- Participate in a weekend rotation and holiday scheduling as needed.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
- BLS Certification
- ARRT (R) Certification
- ME State License
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in OR/C-arm procedures.
- Fluoroscopy experience is preferred; however, strong overall candidates without Fluoroscopy experience may be considered.
- Ability to work with various patient types, including those in the ED, ICU, MedSurg, and Operating Room settings.
Technology and Equipment:
- EMR: Cerner
- PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
- Imaging Equipment: Siemens, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-Arms, and GE AMX 4 portable units.
Orientation and Scheduling:
- Orientation duration: 1-1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level.
- Variable shift times, with a schedule created every 6 weeks.
- No call required, with holiday expectations handled in rotation with other techs.
