MT license is quick, cheap and easy to obtain! Not needed in hand to submit. This role is for a Physical Therapist in a Critical Access Hospital, providing outpatient and inpatient therapy, along with home visits as part of a swing bed program in a rural community. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. This role works collaboratively with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and/or long-term care settings.

Shift availability includes 4x10 hour or 5x8 hour shifts, with hours varying from 34 to 40 hours per week depending on census or case load. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 1 year of experience. Weekend requirements are every 3rd weekend, and a BLS certification is required. There is no on-call requirement, and floating to sister facilities is not required. The facility is open to accommodating block schedules and local candidates are accepted with no RTO restrictions.

Located along the beautiful Clark Fork River, the area offers wildlife viewing, ice fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain recreation, making it the perfect place for quiet Western Montana living. The facility is within 2 hours of 5 ski resorts and 2.5 hours from 7 resorts, and about an hour from both Missoula and Kalispell for shopping, dining, and airport access. Additionally, it is just 35 minutes to the Koo-Koo-Sint Bighorn Sheep Viewing Site. This small-town community allows clinicians to truly get to know their patients, providing broad clinical exposure that is difficult to find in larger, specialized systems.
