Join a leading healthcare facility as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Utica, NY! We are looking for dedicated RNs with a passion for maternal and newborn care to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Submission Requirements:

• WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local Rate (less than 75 miles)
• Up-to-date resume that includes 4-5 years of experience in L&D
• Documenting travel experience is required
• Travel experience required
• Skills Checklist matching specialty
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• NURSYS Report licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Experience Required: EPIC/Stork

Job Description:

• Unit: L&D
• Shift: 12-hour VARIABLE SHIFTS (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING BOTH DAYS AND NIGHTS
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Unit Specifics:
  • Common patient diagnosis: Obstetrics (ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum), GYN, newborns
  • Specialty Equipment: OBIX (program that feeds info into Stork)
  • Patients: Any pregnant patient
  • Number of Beds in the Unit: 18 - 3 Triage beds, 2 Antepartum beds, 2 ORs for c/sections, 3 Recovery beds, and 8 L&D beds
