Join a leading healthcare facility as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Utica, NY! We are looking for dedicated RNs with a passion for maternal and newborn care to join our team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Submission Requirements:
- WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local Rate (less than 75 miles)
- Up-to-date resume that includes 4-5 years of experience in L&D
- Documenting travel experience is required
- Travel experience required
- Skills Checklist matching specialty
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
- NURSYS Report licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses
- RTO MUST be included at time of submission
- EMR Experience Required: EPIC/Stork
Job Description:
- Unit: L&D
- Shift: 12-hour VARIABLE SHIFTS (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
- MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING BOTH DAYS AND NIGHTS
- Floating Required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
- Unit Specifics:
- Common patient diagnosis: Obstetrics (ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum), GYN, newborns
- Specialty Equipment: OBIX (program that feeds info into Stork)
- Patients: Any pregnant patient
- Number of Beds in the Unit: 18 - 3 Triage beds, 2 Antepartum beds, 2 ORs for c/sections, 3 Recovery beds, and 8 L&D beds
