Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) in Burlington, VT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting patient care in a Level 1 trauma center. We are seeking experienced OR RNs who are ready to take on new challenges.

This assignment is for 16-26 weeks, with the possibility of extension. As a traveler, you will be required to work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. The OR RN will rotate between day and evening schedules, typically working three-day shifts plus one off shift. Off shift options include 0845-1915, 1045-2115, or 1245-2315. Additionally, you will be on call one weekday per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block. Flexibility with your schedule is essential to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Requirements:

• Prior travel experience required
• Must have 2 years of OR experience
• Must have large (500+ beds) trauma level 1 experience
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Please have circulate AND scrub skills checklists in packet
• Strong experience required: General OR
• Skills required in ortho, URO, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, trauma

Additional Information:

• IVS to OFFER
• Monday to Sunday
• No block schedules for any reason
• Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 11/02
• Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained
