We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in York, PA. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in Level I Trauma and robotic surgery. Holiday Requirement: Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays (1. Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, 2. Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, 3. New Years Eve/New Years Day). If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, the traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. Special scheduling requests and blocked scheduling cannot be approved. Travelers will be expected to work as needed by the unit.

Pre-Screen Unit: Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on a case-by-case basis. Manager interviews are required.

Minimum Experience: 3 years of Level I Trauma experience required. Previous travel experience required.

Call Requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix (30-minute response required).

Weekend Shifts: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (weekends can be days, evenings, or nights).

Holidays: As needed; may be day, evening, or night shift.

Floating: As needed.

Preferred Skills: RNs should be proficient in scrubbing and circulating. Candidates must be proficient (function independently with no need for refresher training) with the Davinci xi robot. Bonus points for familiarity with the DV5 Davinci robot. Proficiency in robotic general, gyn, thoracic, and urology specialties is required. Other robotic experience (ortho/neuro robots) is not applicable.

Additional Information: Candidates may care for COVID patients. This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility; please notify the traveler prior to submission. Local Rate: $5 less than posted.
