Join our team as a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA, where you will provide exceptional care to critically ill pediatric patients. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on critical care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
• Perform essential procedures including breathing treatments, chest tube setup/care, and administration of blood/blood products.
• Manage complex medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPap, high-frequency vents, and oscillators.
• Assist with procedure sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed.
• Provide care for patients with tracheostomies and ventilators.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy, including PICC and central lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

**Qualifications:**

• 2 years of PICU or critical care experience required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• 1st time travelers accepted with relevant experience.
• Floating to NICU or other units within skill set may be required.
• Certifications: BLS and PALS required; NRP and CRRT preferred.

**Additional Information:**

• Orientation provided.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Perm staff self-schedule first; travelers must meet unit needs.
• Acceptable RTO: Up to 3 days; anything beyond will be screened.
