Join our team as a Physical Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation at a leading healthcare facility in Mound City, MO. This contract position offers flexible 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, allowing for consistent scheduling that meets the needs of our patients and the Director of Rehabilitation.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modifying services based on patient evaluations and making referrals as necessary.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.
• Participate in required meetings, including patient care conferences and utilization review meetings.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed.
• Adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as a Physical Therapist.
