Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Johnstown, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses with cardiac cath experience to work in a dynamic environment. As a Travel RN in the PCU, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to those with cardiac conditions. Our facility is known for its clinical excellence and is a tertiary care regional referral hospital. We offer a wide range of specialties and are recognized for our advanced technology and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on cardiac care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and mids.
• Must be willing to work all shift times as needed.
• Complete and clear background screenings prior to start.

Additional Information:

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
• Patient ratios are RN 1:5, NA 10-12 (days), and 20-22 (nights).
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no hoodies allowed.
• Positive attitude and teamwork are essential for this role.
