As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be part of a dedicated team that values teamwork and a patient-centered approach. The ED is known for its welcoming personalities and commitment to serving a diverse community, with over 120 languages spoken in the area.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors

General Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications required before starting date
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
• Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real time

This position requires working every other weekend, and while block scheduling cannot be committed to, scheduling will meet the needs of the department. Floating outside of the ED is not required, but candidates must be open to floating to all sections within the ED.

Dress Code: Navy scrubs are required.
