Join a leading healthcare provider as a Rapid Response RN in Labor & Delivery (L&D) at a prominent facility in Dallas, TX. This is a contract position offering a unique opportunity to work in a high-risk obstetrical unit. We are seeking experienced RNs who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to high-risk obstetrical patients, including circulating in C-sections and managing high acuity cases.
Ensure adherence to AWHONN staffing ratios, with specific patient ratios for different stages of labor.
Utilize GE fetal monitors and document patient care using Meditech and CPN systems.
Participate in the care of patients during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and post-delivery recovery.

Requirements:

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
Ability to float to the antepartum unit as needed.
Clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code policies.

Unit Highlights:

High-risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds.
Patient ratios: 2:1 and 3:1 in OBED triage.
Rotating weekend shifts may be required.
