Join a leading healthcare provider as a Rapid Response RN in Labor & Delivery (L&D) at a prominent facility in Dallas, TX. This is a contract position offering a unique opportunity to work in a high-risk obstetrical unit. We are seeking experienced RNs who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to high-risk obstetrical patients, including circulating in C-sections and managing high acuity cases.
- Ensure adherence to AWHONN staffing ratios, with specific patient ratios for different stages of labor.
- Utilize GE fetal monitors and document patient care using Meditech and CPN systems.
- Participate in the care of patients during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and post-delivery recovery.
Requirements:
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
- Ability to float to the antepartum unit as needed.
- Clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code policies.
Unit Highlights:
- High-risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds.
- Patient ratios: 2:1 and 3:1 in OBED triage.
- Rotating weekend shifts may be required.
