Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit at a leading acute-care hospital. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns. This contract position offers flexibility in hours, allowing candidates to choose between 36, 40, or 48 hours per week on the night shift.
As a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Unit, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
- Monitoring the health and progress of mothers and infants.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective delivery.
- Utilizing your expertise in circulating experience to assist in various procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and recent EFM (at least intermediate required).
- Preferred Certifications: Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics, Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I and Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth), and First Latch (breastfeeding certification).
