We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Shenandoah, IA. This contract position is ideal for RNs with a passion for providing exceptional surgical care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures.
• Provide care for patients undergoing orthopedic, gynecological, urological, general, cataract, pain injections, ENT, and OB surgeries.
• Manage 5-10 surgical patients per day.
• Participate in call rotation, with hours that vary.
• Be available for on-call duties during weekends, with no scheduled weekend shifts.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN; 3 years preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Experience in ambulatory OR and general OR settings.
• Preferred experience in ENT, Endo, GYN, podiatry, and orthopedic procedures.
• No first-time travelers allowed.
• Altera experience preferred.
