Join our team as a Physical Therapist in Blue Hill, ME, at a leading outpatient therapy facility. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for rehabilitation and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Unit Information:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year minimum, must have outpatient experience
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Mostly adults, school-aged children (non-pediatric development diagnoses), including post-ortho, post-spinal surgeries, geriatrics, work injuries, and neurological imbalances.
• 60-minute bookings for evaluations and treatments, practicing single patient care.

Required License and Certifications:

• BLS certification
• Maine PT license
• Bachelor's degree or above in Physical Therapy

Skills Required:

• Experience with the above patient types
• Manual therapy and exercise science
• Providing education to patients on adaptive equipment (walkers, canes, crutches, etc.)

Support within the Department:

• 3 total Physical Therapists
• 1 Patient Service Representative
• At least 1 assistant supervisor available (not always on site)
• Manager available via phone

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: Cerner PowerChart

Orientation:

• New Employee Orientation (NEO) followed by 1 to 1.5 weeks of orientation with a staff member, gradually increasing patient load.

Scheduling:

• No weekend rotation
• No on-call duties
• Closed on major holidays; may work 50% of minor holidays

Additional Notes:

• Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs or business casual attire
