Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a dynamic environment focusing on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down care. We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, primarily those newly diagnosed with acute leukemia.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in a PCU setting, ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention strategies.
Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias, utilizing Rapid Response Teams as necessary.
Administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines, including PICC lines.
Utilize computerized charting systems such as EPIC for accurate documentation.

Experience and Qualifications:

Overall 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a PCU setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
ONS Chemo Certification and NIHSS certification are preferred.
Skills in telemetry monitoring and patient management are essential.

Shift Information:

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Variable weekend scheduling based on unit needs.
