Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) specializing in Neurology. This is a contract position offering a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekdays and some weekends. The start date for this role is October 13, 2026, with a duration of 13 weeks.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing care in both Critical Care and General Care settings, working with adult and pediatric patients. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend availability is necessary, and floating to meet facility needs may be required.

**Requirements:**

• National Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, NALS for Pediatrics
• BLS Certification Required: Yes
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: Yes, as needed
• Local Candidates Accepted: Yes (within a 100-mile radius)
• Pending State License Accepted: Yes
• RTO Restrictions: Must be submitted two weeks prior to the next schedule and approved by the manager

**Submission Requirements:**

• Perm employees cannot return to the facility as a traveler for 2 years after their last day worked in a permanent role.
• Flu Shot: Candidates who refuse the flu shot without medical proof will not be considered. The facility requires all personnel to take the flu vaccine unless they have an allergy documented by a physician.
• Covid Vaccine: Not required.
• All candidates must complete a fit test in advance using one of the approved masks.
• Candidates may need to travel up to 100 miles to complete the fit test.
• All submissions must include a candidate profile, specialty-specific skills checklist, a minimum of 2 manager/charge references (within the past 2 years), RN license verification, driver’s license, and SSN.

This facility is a Short-Term Acute Care and Level 1 Trauma Center, recognized as a major teaching hospital and a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). It has a total of 855 staffed beds, and travelers enjoy free parking in the parking garage.
