Interventional Radiology Technologist | Atlanta, GA | Contract

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is a contract position with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Our facility is known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in medical services.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with variable days off. Weekend call is required, with 1 weekday and 1 weekend rotation based on staffing volume.

FLOATING: Candidates may float within the facility/scope of practice as needed, including to Cath and EP with required procedures on unit days.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers.

CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine clinical fit. If the clinical screen is passed and meets the facility's guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.

REQUEST TIME OFF (RTO): A maximum of 7 days is allowed.

HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

COMPLIANCE: Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, there may be a pushback of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Please note that the number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours (NBO) is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 19 hours for a 19-week assignment).
