SICU Registered Nurse | Charlottesville, VA | Contract

The Surgical/Trauma ICU is a fast-paced 15-bed intensive care unit in a Level 1 facility comprised of surgical and trauma adult critical care patients. This is a contract position for a SICU Registered Nurse with a commitment to providing high-quality care in a challenging environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients.
  • Adhering to the facility's float policy.
  • Working every other weekend and two out of three winter holidays.
  • Offering 36 or 48 hours of work per week, with the possibility of approving 40 hours for time off.

Requirements for this position include:

  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Epic experience is necessary.
  • Must have a valid Virginia nursing license or be able to submit with a pending license.
