Join our team as a Medical Surgical - Neuro Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Portland, OR! We welcome first-time travelers and offer a supportive environment for your professional growth.

This position will float between units as needed, so flexibility is key. On-call duties are required, and you will need to remain available if your shift is canceled. Weekend shifts are required every other week. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, ensuring quality care for all patients.

Special requirements include NIHSS certification, and please note that having a vehicle for this assignment is essential. While 48 hours are not approved, travelers may be required to float to other units based on their skill sets. AYA Healthcare professionals may float to various facilities, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.

For floating to Seaside, if booked to a non-Seaside facility, you will receive a $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside, in addition to IRS mileage reimbursement. If floating consecutive shifts, additional hotel accommodations will be provided. The facility will give as much notice as possible for any floating to Seaside.
