Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Randallstown, MD. This contract position is ideal for RNs seeking to make a difference in patient care within a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 20-bed Observation Unit.
• Monitor patients' conditions and perform telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage blood products, central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines.
• Utilize strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to determine patient disposition.

Requirements:

• 2 years of RN experience required; community hospital experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required.
• 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education required.
• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission.
• Cardiac Telemetry and PCU/Stepdown experience required.
• Experience with CVA, seizure disorder, and substance withdrawal preferred.
• Charting System: Cerner required.

Additional Information:

• Floating is not routinely required but may occur based on hospital needs.
• Every other weekend is required.
• No time off will be approved during hard-to-fill days such as holidays.
