Join a leading healthcare facility as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR) in Bellevue, NE. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on orthopedic cases. Candidates must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures and possess at least 2 years of experience.

As an Operating Room RN, you will be expected to assist with precepting and orienting new staff and travelers. The role requires holiday and weekend call (5-6 shifts per month), but there are no overnight shifts. You will work in a busy OR with 6 rooms and handle 15-20 cases per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in orthopedic surgeries and other general surgical procedures.
• Participate in precepting and orienting new staff and travelers.
• Self-schedule shifts and manage call responsibilities.
• Maintain BLS certification.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Experience in General Surgery, endoscopic procedures, and orthopedics is required.
• Preferred experience in L&D, gynecology, plastics, podiatry, robotics, and urology.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

Please note that local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
