Join our team as a dedicated MRI Technologist at a leading healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality imaging services.

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while performing MRI scans. The department operates with a ratio of approximately 9 patients per shift, and you will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans as per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and students.
• Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Please note the following important details regarding the position:

• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled/needed during specific holiday periods.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation will be required.
• Holiday and overtime multipliers are set at 1.25%.
