Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting in Norman, OK! We are seeking a dedicated professional to effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. You will develop appropriate plans of care while following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Assessing patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluating treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modifying services based on patient evaluations.
• Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Effectively communicating with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Documenting all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintaining patient records according to company policy.
• Accurately recording treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Participating in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Engaging in facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences.
• Supervising and supporting CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Adhering to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
