Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Med/Surg unit in Portland, ME. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

- Facility Department: Nursing R7
- Shift: Nights
- Weekend Hours: Yes, Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: No
- Years of Experience: 1 year of recent Acute Care Experience required
- Float Requirements: May float based on skillset
Education & Certifications Required:
- BLS Certification
- Healthstream Modules
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 46 at Capacity
- Patient Ratios: 1:8 Max
- Equipment: Specialty Beds, Philips Monitor Vital Sign Machines, Overhead lifts, Sara Steady, Standing Scale, Bladder Scanner, Hover Mat, Sage Mat, Synergy Air beds, Stryker beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, walkers, slide boards
- EMR: Epic
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Recent Acute Care Experience, Charting / EMR Experience
- Type of Patients on Unit: Mix of Medical and Surgical, Medically ready for Discharge
- Personality Fit: Patient-centered care, teamwork, excellent communicator, punctual, reliable
