Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical/Tele in Statesboro, GA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where your skills will be valued and utilized to their fullest potential.

As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication administration using scanning at bedside.
• Provide care to Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring.
• Float between Med Surg and Tele departments as needed.

Requirements:

• RECENT experience in an acute care setting required.
• BLS certification required.
• Recent Cerner charting experience.
• 2+ years of nursing experience required.
• 2+ completed travel assignments required.

Additional Information:

• Number of beds in unit: 35.
• Monthly department volume: 810.
• Types of Services: Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, Respiratory.
• Patient Ratio: 1:6-7; PCT has 14 patients.
• Scrub color: navy blue.
• EMR: Cerner.
