Join a leading healthcare facility as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) with a focus on Detox. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential care to patients in need. Candidates with ER experience are encouraged to apply.

This role is located in Pulaski, TN, where the facility provides inpatient and outpatient services to the community. The Detox unit is part of a 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Position Information:

• Unit Profile: Detox Unit
• Patient Ratios: 1:7
• Equipment: IV pumps, Zoll monitor, IV catheters
• EHR: HMS/Medhost
• Patient Population: Ages 18 to Geriatric (occasionally 17 years old)

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care of all ages, including bedside shift report and IV access.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as PICC lines/midlines, CIWA/COWS.
• Administer treatments for substance abuse and related conditions, including valium tapers and rescue medications.
• Participate in required audits and processes, including bedside shift report, briefs, debriefs, and unit checks.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS (handle with care training after hire).
• Experience: Preferred 5+ years (3+ years acceptable).
• Education: ASN minimum; licensure/certification required to work as an RN in TN.
• All Travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
